Roof Tops

I know why people do it.
I know why they lock their roof tops.
Why they shut their stair-wells to all, unless in an emergency (and even then only to go down).
Its not just because they're worried of people jumping, ending their lives off the top of a skyscraper.
Its because they are afraid.
Afraid that if you should feel what I feel every time I step out to the top of a roof in the heart of the city, that chaos would ensue...

It is hard to describe the feeling that comes to those that dare to trespass. The feeling can be summed up as freedom. Pure, unadulterated freedom. But that's not exactly it. No skyscraper owner wants anyone other than themselves to feel that. They've worked their lives hiding freedom from you. Making you work day in, day out to maintain the
status quo.
The feelings gained from standing atop somewhere you shouldn't be, in the dark of night, lit up by the city, a cool breeze flowing around you, the excited chatter of friends and the occasional click of a camera. That is something all should experience.

Through this blog i'll post a lot of things.
Things i'm interested in.
Mostly they'll be relating to exploring.
Some may be technology related.
Some may be security related.
Others may just be unrelated to all.
But hopefully you'll always find something to read or something to view.
Comments are always welcome, as are ideas.
I don't always have much time. But i do intend to keep this blog upto date.
I've got about 20 GB of un-edited photos waiting to be processed.
The result of years of exploring.
But i'm not done yet...
